Sekon Sta x The Best (Kan Kan Riddim)

Kan Kan riddim is our top pick so far from the Soca 2015 offerings, produced by AdvoKit Productions with great cuts from Benjai, Olatunji, and King Bubba FM. This one from Sekton Sta is a little sweeter than the other cuts but it is one of our favourites and we hope there will be more to come from him this soca season.

This happened.

Ricardo Drue x Vagabond

Ricardo Drue may be a new name to us here but he was crowned the Power Soca Monarch King of Antigua earlier this year and was also runner up in the groovy and road categories. Now he’s ready for T&T carnival and we are predicting big things for Vagabond, it’s fun, catchy and makes you wanna wine up on something!

King Bubba FM x Who Drinking Rum/Come Out to Win

The man responsible for producing this monster hit from last year King Bubba FM has stepped out from behind the mixing desk to voice a cut on his latest riddim June Bomb. Who drinking rum/Come out to win is a fun and infectious groovy soca tune which that will get you in the party mood and the video will have you wishing you were on di road!

Hipsters Don’t Dance Halloween

HDD_NOV_440

This month HDD falls on Halloween weekend so we have asked a big bad producer Famous Eno (Mixpak) to join us and duppy the dance. He will be helping us bring some madness to the back room of The Shacklewell Arms. As usual we will be recreating the feeling of carnival in the middle of Dalston but this month there might be some ghoulish antics as it is Halloween weekend after all!

The Bogle and ‘Duppy Wine’ are encouraged!  Fete Hard or go Home!

£5 on the door from 11pm til 3am but it’s £3 entry for all in costume or you can email us to be added to our £3 list.
