Toddla T is at his best when he is making something big, bashy and ‘Dutt-eh’! Salute was added to his soundcloud about a month ago and it seriously bangs. Produced for Gappy Ranks with a guest vocal from Sheffield’s K-Dot (who you may recognise from Walter Ego’s Calm Down), this one is sure to be a banger when it officially drops. Salute to all involved!
One of our favourite tunes from last years Watch Me Dance LP gets the remix treatment from Ross Orton and Pipes. This is taken from the upcoming remix LP (done solely by the Sheffield duo) which is out on August 13. Ross Orton has been someone that we have always liked from the days that he and Toddla did amazing remixes to his collaboration with Checan. To hear his and Pipes touch of what was one of the best LP’s of last year will be exciting.
Our Sheff homies Bad Taste are back at Meter (upstairs at The C.A.M.P) this Saturday. They are joined by Deft and the other homie Unknown Soulja. It should be a good affair, you can catch us skanking there. Also look out for a cheeky Bad Taste x Hipsters Dont Dance thing in the coming weeks.
Also on the bill will be Squarehead and Timbah who have both been receiving airplay from Toddla T, Monki (Rinse Fm) and Mary Anne Hobbs.

On the 27th, our Sheffield brethren Bad Taste take over the basement of The Camp for their latest rave. This time they have badman Seiji headlining the bill. Also on the bill is LV feat. Josh Idehen of Northern Line fame (if you haven’t heard this song you are missing out) and Deft. More importantly, in our eyes, you have badman dj/producers Checan, Walter Ego and Darkstorm ready to turn The Camp basement into the place to be on the 27th. All that for only £6 on the door.
