These two are continuously shelling it in their respective genres and when they join forces it’s no different. We predicted Remedy would be a grower when we posted the lyric video back in October and adding Shaggy has given it the push it needed. We are loving this refix of Remedy!

We have been all over Ricky Blaze’s productions recently from Syvah to Uptown Julie riddim, and now he has dropped Overrated. His sound is unique and is bringing something new and exciting to dancehall. Overrated is the title track from his album which will be out in January 2015. Check out the video teaser above and stream the track in full below which features HDD favourites Shaggy and Kranium.
One of the best songs this year Shaggy and Beres Hammond’s Fight This Feeling get a few more cut on the Sly and Robbie Riddim. The new additions include Samira, Maxi Priest, Assasin, Red Fox and more. This warm blanket on a song gets some more additions. The Shaggy and Ne-Yo song sadly isn’t as big as they think, this riddim is.
We lovingly call him the The Dream of Jamaica, but Leftside is really an under rated musical genius. Whether it’s his own songs, production, his record label, Keep Left Records, or even videos he really is someone that is incredible. In this 40 minute mix we chose some our favourite Leftside vocals and productions (including what we feel are the best cuts on our favourite riddims) and tried our best to encapsulate an artist who knows no boundaries. Whether it’s his classic dancehall, his alter ego Dr Evil who specialises in impersonations of Lil Wayne, Jay Z and Chris Brown, he really can do it all. People tend to overlook his work on higher tempo dance music with the likes of Major Lazer and Crookers employing him to give his magic touch to whatever madness they have cooking up. With the buzz building with his new single Monkey Biznizz we thought it’s time to make sure the world knows it’s #ALLLEFTSIDEEVERYTHING

The sun has finally started to peek out those grey clouds and we can finally see some sun, which is probably why we are posting this song. We love Shaggy and Red Foxx as well and remove those annoying synths and we could have something that could really land well with a pop audience. This is the sort of song i can imagine David Rodigan playing at the end of his set. The video by the excellent Rawtid Tv is great and showcases the island’s beauty.
We have been promoting the sound of World Carnival and even did a mix celebrating African Dancehall. Rarely have Jamaican dancehall and African dancehall met (The Gyptian x Wizkid thing was a bit leave it yeah) so this collaboration between Duncan Mighty and Shaggy finally came out (after being hinted at in December last year) folks were excited. It’s a wicked little slinky sexy affair that see Shaggy hit the Mr Boombastic style once again. Duncan Mighty is from Hootie Who’s neck of the woods Port Harcourt which boasts a strong reggae scene. The scene gained some notoriety after Luciano was pelted with bottles during a performance last year.
