Style & Swagger with Tuggawar

Here is the latest Style & Swagger show , where we played our favourite tracks from Vybz Kartel’s Kingston story, brought some summer vibes to the studio with a summer selection, and ran classic riddims Deh Time Deh and Pon Me Nozzle. We were joined in studio by Tuggawar who filled us in on performing  at Sting, getting to know Sean Paul’s dad, and how he got into the dancehall scene, as well as performing two brand new tracks and treating us to a performance of The Surf!

This show was our last at Reel Rebels radio and we definitely made it a good one! Huge thanks to Reel Rebels for the opportunity to get our show up and running and for helping us to bring you seven enjoyable shows full of great music, wicked guests, fun studio crew and of course roti and red stripe! Style & Swagger are very excited to be moving to NTS, bringing you a Bi monthly show on Monday mornings from 1am -2am (hold tight the insomnia crew, we are coming for you).

Style & Swagger Live with Guest Host Serocee

Last Tuesday Style & Swagger went live on Reel Rebels Radio, and to celebrate we invited Big Dutty Stinkin Serocee to host the show for us. This show is one not to be slept on if I do say so myself. Listen back to hear Serocee chat about his new projetcs, his live shows , crowd surfing, nike high heeled shoes, soca workouts and much more. We also got to hear his new tune Righteous featuring Illaman and Navigator (which is definitely one to watch). If you dont believe in a good MC’s ability to add to a dj set, this show will certainly prove you wrong.

Style & Swagger 3

The latest Style and Swagger is a BIG one: we have a section on Leftside who is moving dancehall forward with what he calls ‘Teggae Reggae’, there’s a section of bashment cover versions from The Large (not to be missed!), a section on our HDD headliner Murlo (who is mr multi-talented, check out some of his work pictured above) and some grimey bashment from Why Delila to get you ready for Physically Fit

If you like what you hear, tune in to Reel Rebels Radio on Tuesday 29th of March, our next one will be live, literally!
