It’s been a big week or so for HDD resident Murlo, his first Ep Nectah was released on Pollinate (You can still support him). He went on the Wifey radio show on Deja Vu FM with juke god Chrissy Murderbot (he also gets in some speed meringue) on Thursday. Then came up to Manchester on Friday with us for Can You Felix‘s crazy KMT party at the Roadhouse (which no one knew was a Patrick Swazye film). He rounded the week off by playing at our 2nd birthday and sending the crowd in a frenzy. What would this week be without some recorded evidence, So above is a video of him playing his Bax Down refix (Mosca’s all conquering Bax and Walter Ego’s Calm Down) in Manchester (with added jumping around from us) and below is the Wifey show from Thursday.

Here is the latest Style & Swagger show , where we played our favourite tracks from Vybz Kartel’s Kingston story, brought some summer vibes to the studio with a summer selection, and ran classic riddims Deh Time Deh and Pon Me Nozzle. We were joined in studio by Tuggawar who filled us in on performing at Sting, getting to know Sean Paul’s dad, and how he got into the dancehall scene, as well as performing two brand new tracks and treating us to a performance of The Surf!
This show was our last at Reel Rebels radio and we definitely made it a good one! Huge thanks to Reel Rebels for the opportunity to get our show up and running and for helping us to bring you seven enjoyable shows full of great music, wicked guests, fun studio crew and of course roti and red stripe! Style & Swagger are very excited to be moving to NTS, bringing you a Bi monthly show on Monday mornings from 1am -2am (hold tight the insomnia crew, we are coming for you).
