P-Square Ft Awilo Longombo x Enemy Solo

Naija’s P Square collaborate with Congolese singer Awilo Longombo on their latest one, and as always the video (directed by clarence Peters) features a whole lot of energy and a whole lot of dancing!

Busy Signal x Professionally

Busy Signal hops on P-Square’s Personally and blows our mind with it. Seriously if his is Busy’s new lane we are all for it.

P-Square x Alingo (Feat. Sizwe)

First it was Machel and Timaya (well actually a couple of other folks) and not it’s the time of P-Square and Sizwe/ I was hoping for a sly road mix but its pretty much the same as the OG. Here’s to more of this please.

P-Square x Personally

The Nigerian twins P-Square who brought us Chop My Money and Alingo have released what we think might be the new Oliver Twist. Personally features P-Square’s RnB vocal stylings over a beat which fits nicely with the house trend we are seeing in Nigerian pop right now. The video proves the boys can dance as well as they sing – paying tribute to the late great MJ’s videos and moves.

May D x So Many Tinz

Django inspired video by Mr May D (Former Signee to P-Square records and de facto Akon’s label). I can’t even begin chatting about the video. There is a nice dance breakdown a la Janet in the 80’s and a behind the scenes bit at the end.

DJ ECOOL & King Ola present Nigerian Independence Party Mix

Today (October 1st) is Nigerian Independence day, Hootie Who’s country of origin and the land where most of our favourite music is coming from. We were tempted to do a new mix celebrating the new stuff (in a similar sense to soca, Nigerian music has a season, October gearing up to December party season) but the majority of stuff hasn’t really settled yet. This mix from King Ola and DJ ECOOL is diverse enough to really catch a good flavour of what the county is coming up with.
