If you have been keeping up with us recently you know that we have been bumping this one at HDD HQ for a while, and it now has a video. Giggs delivers his best verse since “Look What The Cat Dragged In” and Moelogo goes Leftside/Dr Evil with the weirdest MJ Shamone since Bo Selecta His Chris Brown and Trey Songs impressions are pretty good though but at the end of the day its Moelogo who’s the baddest!

Leftside doing what he does best R and B flavoured dancehall. There are some chuckle worthy lyrics in this one but for the most part this is Leftside hitting the right notes.
We lovingly call him the The Dream of Jamaica, but Leftside is really an under rated musical genius. Whether it’s his own songs, production, his record label, Keep Left Records, or even videos he really is someone that is incredible. In this 40 minute mix we chose some our favourite Leftside vocals and productions (including what we feel are the best cuts on our favourite riddims) and tried our best to encapsulate an artist who knows no boundaries. Whether it’s his classic dancehall, his alter ego Dr Evil who specialises in impersonations of Lil Wayne, Jay Z and Chris Brown, he really can do it all. People tend to overlook his work on higher tempo dance music with the likes of Major Lazer and Crookers employing him to give his magic touch to whatever madness they have cooking up. With the buzz building with his new single Monkey Biznizz we thought it’s time to make sure the world knows it’s #ALLLEFTSIDEEVERYTHING

As massive fans of Leftside (Look out for something reiterating that later this week) we are always excited to hear his new stuff. The man’s versatility is incredible, he is vastly underrated and on this one he hops on his own trap inspired beat to destroy it with this catchy new track Moneky Biznizz. As our good friend La’Donna says expect kids to be pounding yams to this all summer.
PS: Leftside is on the low key song of the summer Jet Blue Jet.
We are massive fans of Leftside here at HDD and also of Dubbel Dutch so when the two combine you can only imagine how happy we are. Dubbel Dutch took TI and Lil Wayne’s Ball which according to Rob Pursey of SH was the song that you heard everywhere at SXSW and added this great Leftside vocal to create this monster. We can’t wait to play it on the dancefloors and see the crowd bubble and whine. We should be cooking up something good to do with Leftside soon enough.
We have been waiting to post this when more cuts on the Leftside produced Bombshell riddim comes out but it seems that he is testing the water with this cut and the Stacious one. There is no denying that we love Leftside, we christened him the Jamaican The Dream, due to his ability to craft great riddims and songs. This riddim reminds us of Timbaland/Danja My Love circa 2005 with those great synths and stumbling drum pattern. We look forward to hearing more from this riddim in the future. In the meantime you can take the more aggressive Stacious cut here.
