You may know Douster from his popular King of Africa or his Dagga remix of Busy Signal’s Da Style Deh but like a lot of the producers we love, he has a love and appreciation for dancehall which is clear in his latest EP on Mixpak Inna Style n Fashion. Wine is one of our favourites on the EP due to that demanding intro followed by Cee Gee willing you to ‘make love to the concrete‘ and Douster’s clever sampling – phone interference never sounded so good!

Like Gyptian’s Hold Yuh and Mavado’s Never Believe You, Wine Like a Genie has piano keys that make you fall in love with it. Dancehall tunes built on piano keys are winners in our book and Like A Genie can now be added to this category. You will be singing this one all summer.
