On the 7th of July we are back at The Meter for our July Session. As we roll into the summer months we decided to get some of the best up and coming DJ’s in the UK to join us. DJ Darka and CanYouFelix are two of people that run the Manchester music scene. Between them they are involved in some of the best and brightest of the city’s vibrant clubbing scene. Both of them are resident DJ’s at one of the Top Five dancehall nights in the country (coincidentally so are we), Felix runs Kiss My Teeth, a great Tropical night in Manchester, which recently branched out into London at the World famous Camden Roundhouse. DJ Darka’a radio show is a must listen for those in the know and really highlights the best of the new and old Manchester clubbing scenes.
So we have those two guys joining us as well as Illanja giving us a classic garage set. The man knows his garage, this will not be purely a reminisce set, expect to hear gems that you may have missed out on. We all know that you associate garage with the summer, we grew up with it so lets go back and really HAVE IT. Kazabon and Hootie Who will of course bring you the best in hip hop, dancehall and tropical from around the world.

On April 7th (part of the first bank holiday of the year) we will be joined by Whole Sick at our monthly residency at The Meter. We are excited to have one of the UK’s rising DJ’s come and play at HDD. Whole Sick is a renowned DJ not only in the UK but also across Europe, as part of the super successful Kool Kids Klub. He has recently moved into production and his collaboration with Tomb Crew I Go Sick is one of our favourite songs to play in sets. Of course you will have Why Delila and Illanja as well as HDD DJ’s Kazabon and Hootie Who bringing you the best in Hip Hop, Dancehall and Tropical.
Please note that we are still upstairs at The C.A.M.P, the venue has changed name to Meter (Nearest Tube: Old Street).

On March 3rd we are back at C.A.M.P. for our monthly residency. This time we are joined by one of the leading lights of Tropical bass music Warrior One. We were lucky to have Warrior One christen our first ever event at the C.A.M.P. back in September 2010. Since then he has gone on to release records labels such as Black Butter, King Pigeon and Mixpak and work with the likes of Serocee, Lady Chann and Durrty Goodz. His latest track Fyah featuring Ayah (which you can listen to below). We are very lucky to have him joining us and can’t wait for his storming set.
Also on the night we will have residents Murlo (Pollinate/ Mixpak), The Large (Shimmy Shimmy) and HDD DJ’s Kazabon & Hootie Who bringing you those winter carnival vibes. So expect soca, azonto, naija pop, SA house alongside the usual hip hop, tropical and dancehall.
