As you can tell from our other blends, sometimes R&B and dancehall just work so well together and the same goes for our new blend Style Up. Chante Moore’s sometimes slept on hit Straight Up gets a new lease of life on Pop Style Riddim. As always support the original artists Chante Moore and DJ Frass. Stream or download below.

We are back at The Libertine on Saturday March 15th for great music, great vibes, and Famous Eno’s Buffalo wings at HDD House Party. We (Kazabon & Hootie Who) will be providing you with a soundtrack of party starters to get you in the mood for clubbing. It’s a little more laid back than our monthly parties at The Shacklewell Arms but it’s just as much fun! We will be kicking things off at 8pm but be sure to get down before 10pm if you want to sample the wings, trust us, they are the best in London! More info and directions here. The vibe will be something like this.
We were incredibly proud to be asked by our favourite record label Mixpak to participate in their Mixpak FM mix series. We focused on doing a afrobeats/pop mix of stuff we have been enjoying for ages. It was really nice to actually focus on this and try and capture a tiny bit of what the carnival is like. Above is a video from 4 years ago, i think it was my 2nd of my 3 visits. Get the tracklist and download link here, or stream below.
Our February session was one of our best yet at The Shacklewell Arms, so for those of you who missed it, and for those of you who want to re-live it here are some excellent shots by Egle Trezzi above, and a recording of Kazabon & Hootie Who’s set below. HDD head honchos and party starters Kazabon & Hootie Who ran through everything from dancehall to soca to afro pop to tropical bass, in true world carnival style.
