HDD Highlights: HDD 3rd Birthday in Pictures

Just over a week ago we celebrated 3 years of HDD with guests Serocee, Lexx Blake and HDD resident Murlo at The Big Chill House. We had such a great night thanks to all of you who came down and partied with us. Thanks to Anthony Oloagun and Johanna Svanelind for the photos, they really captured the vibe of the night.

Kiss My teeth feat Fuse ODG, AJ Holmes +More Live Performances + Interviews from Dizzietron on Vimeo.

Back in May we joined Kiss My Teeth residents Can You Felix and Dizzietron at The Roundhouse in Camden for their first London event as part of Roundhouse Rising. We performed alongside AJ Holmes & The Hackney Empire and Fuse ODG – we even did the Azonto behind the decks as Fuse’s backing dancers/djs. The night was a lot of fun with great performances from all of the acts and a booty shaking contest with more booty than we bargained for!

HDD Highlights : July Session in Pictures

Our July session last Saturday night was a heater – even if it was raining.DJ Darka and CanYouFelix did not disappoint and some hipsters even proved us wrong! Big up Khusela Kush Ngcaba for the photos, they say it all!

HDD Highlights: Effect Mode & Illaman at HDD February Session

Saturday’s HDD was an eventful one! We had February snowfall which caused an hour long power cut at The Camp, but that didn’t stop us from having a HDD party. Effect Mode and Illaman gave us one hell of a performance playing tracks from their new project.

Illaman also treated us to a freestyle using the words South London, orange and nipple tassels, as suggested by the crowd. Watch out for big things from Effect Mode in 2012, the new project truly is UK hip hop at its finest!
