We are back at The Shacklewell Arms this Saturday July 5th. You can find us in the back room recreating the feeling of Carnival in the middle of Dalston. On the night we will have residents Murlo alongside HDD head honchos and party starters Kazabon & Hootie Who.
It’s been a 2 months since the last session so we are incredibly excited to be back. We are on the road to carnival, you don’t want to miss out! Fete hard or go home!!! More info here.
In April we were joined by Rinse Fm’s Brackles for another amazing HDD session at The Shacklewell Arms. Brackles is known for his excellent musical taste and selection and recently he has been playing a lot of Afropop on his show. He rarely gets the opportunity to play this music in clubs and in this set he plays a healthy dose of it mixed with his signature garage and funky sounds. It sure got hot and sweaty in the Shacklewell dancehall! If you missed it you missed out!!!!! Remember our next party is this Saturday.
UKG remixes of that Drake song where Jay-Z has a wet dream about Greggs (for uk folk) or Marie Calendars (for us folk). The temptation is to go for something that is super bait, keep the vocal and hope for the blog hits. Instead Moony went somewhere else with this, playing with space, the breakdowns and more.
Murlo is back with his third appearance on Just Jam. Things are ramping up for the young producer /DJ as he gears up for some goodies coming up soon. Also you might want to catch up with one of his other passions as his work is part of an exhibition this Thursday (6th September) which is near Liverpool Street Station.
