T.I x About The Money (Feat. Young Thug)

Yeah, T.I, someone who over the past 4 years we have seen more than heard (shout out all 5 people watching House of Lies). The King of the South , who will always hold a special place in our hearts due to the massive look he gave Beenie Man ages ago. This time he teams up with man of the moment Young Thug (also Naija weed enthusiast) on a church organ lead stormer of a summer song. The last time we fell in love with a song like this it didn’t turn out so well, sorry Meek Mill and Drake. It will be interesting to see where this one goes.

Kantana x Head A Bunx

Beenie Man’s newest protege (although he has been around for a while Douster’s Dollar Sign for example) he gets his own time to shine on Head a Bunx. Produced by Dre Day productions (1 of our fave producers at the moment) this is Kantana’s announcement song. That announcement being that he is an artist to listen to.

Ashanti x First Real Love (Feat. Beenie Man)

So the song that we got a snippet of about a month ago is finally out. And its 3/4 of a good song, there is a Major Lazer/Dutch House lingering affect in the chorus. Also it’s Ashanti’s song but has 3 Beenie Man verses so let’s go ahead and call it his song. He nails it, in a way that a man who knows how to maximise his potential mainstream hits.

2013 BET Awards x Dancehall Medley

The 2013 BET Awards were held last night in the US and in the adverts leading up to the event Chris Tucker did warn us that anything could happen! We weren’t expecting this dancehall medley with Bobby Konders on decks and Jabba on mic duties introducing Dawn Penn, Chaka Demus and Pliers, Beenie Man and Elephant Man running through some 90s classics. The way the Energy God came through the crowd and had everyone (especially Nicki Minaj) bussing a wine was something special!

Sean Paul & Beenie Man x Greatest Gallis

Mainly posting this because of Beenie’s scally uniform in the video which he then wore in the club as you can see in these pictures from Kingston Style. Right now we are more used to hearing Sean Paul with whatever identikit pop star/group so it’s nice to hear him on some dancehall.
