HDD x NTS Nigeria Special, 28th September 2018

It’s been a minute since we did our Lagos Special so we thought it was about time to showcase some of the amazing music coming out of Nigeria ahead of Nigerian Independence Day. Listen back to two hours of our favourite afropop tracks below.

Patoranking x Available

Patoranking always delivers with his visuals and the video for Available is no exception. Shot by Clarence Peters the video for Patoranking’s take of Wololo really delivers. Listen out for this one in HDD sets.

HDD x NTS Oct 27th

Listen back to our latest NTS show below featuring new music from Cardinal Sound, Levi, Sweyn Jupiter, Wizkid and more. Tracklist here.

Patoranking x This Kind of Love feat Wizkid

Big collab from two of our favourite Nigerian artists, with Sarz on the buttons. How can you not love those horns?! Although the tune has a strong message the video’s concept is a fun way of shooting without the main stars, young Wizkid and young Patoranking are doing a pretty great job here!

Davido x Fall

Davido’s latest sees him interpolating Kojo Funds’ Dun Talkin. Interesting to see afropop being influenced by the UK scene that it has been influencing for a while now.

HDD x NTS Kenzo Folio Instore Launch

The set we played at the launch of the new Kenzo Folio is now available to stream via the NTS site. Listen back below for two hours of afropop and world carnival sounds which soundtracked the launch of the “Gidi gidi bu ugwu eze” exhibition of images and video directed by Akinola Davies Jr and photographed by Ruth Ossai. The exhibition is on until May 10th at the Kenzo mayfair store. Don’t miss it!
