Dom Kennedy recently sat down with Jay Z’s website Life and Times to chat about the lyrics to his summer anthem My Type of Party. He talks about wanting to make a song that was a party vibe without being overly hype. To be honest there is so much of that missing and this song as well as the Yellow Lp filled that void this summer.
