So Shifty Present #Unfuckwithable

Every week the excellent So Shifty guys will bring you a performance that they deem #unf*ckwithable. You can give them suggestions on twitter just using that hashtag but ultimately they will decide. This week’s edition is from Tessanne and her hit Hidewaway.

Tifa & Spice x Why Yuh Mad?

What some people have incorrectly called a diss video, against Lady Saw, its nearing December anything is being turned into confrontation in advance of Sting. Washroom’s Dog bite Riddim gets it’s first big video in this Tifa and Spice Collaboration. We hope that these guys do a few more collaborations because this one goes.

Johnny D x Who’s Dat Ting

What the coming over the hill? Soca Season! This year we are branching out a bit we are also going to keep a keen eye on Bouyon aka Dominican Soca aka Jump Up aka Power Soca. One DJ/Producer whom we quite like is DJ Flip Tha Boss and he recently teamed up with Johnny D for the Bouyon Flow EP. This is the highlight of the EP a playful song over a souped up version of Paris.

Ps you can check out the Koompa Remix of Rihanna’s (props to SIA as well) Diamonds here.

Stylo G x Press Up

We have been thirsty for a heavy hitting dancehall track for a while now and Press Up is certainly quenching that thirst! The track sees HDD fam So Shifty on the buttons and Stylo G paying tribute to his father Poison Chang. This is the best thing we have heard from Stylo G since Call Me a Yardie and it’s sure to bring back the wuk.

Press Up will be released on Supersonic Sound on December 5th

Fantasy Thrilla x Crush On You Remix

Fantasy Thrilla is back, finally it’s been ages. His new one is his ballroom take on the classic Lil Kim and Lil Cease duet Crush on You (argument to be made that this was my generation’s Tammi Terrel and Marvin Gaye duet) . This was the moment that launched the career of Lil Kim yet is often overlooked by DJ’s who do a throwback sets. None the less this is great and is already in all our crates for future parties.

Mash Up International x Lava Cabeza (Feat. Gnucci & Timbuktu)

The combination of Gnucci and Mash Up never misses and this is the case again. Throw in Timbuktu , whom we haven’t heard of but will be checking out now, this is some tropical fun. Remixes on the EP come from HDD Fam So Shifty, Tony Senghore and The Very Best and Moroka.
Ps Hootie Who is conflicted by which way to say dance, sometimes it’s his UK upbringing other times it’s his years in California and his wanting to getting buck on the dance floor.
